Our favorite Pizza Spots in northern New Jersey
With this cold weather, it’s a great time to put on some fuzzy socks, download a great movie, and bring in a pizza. Or, if you feel like getting out of the house, that works too! Here are our favorite pizza spots, all worth the calories.
Fiamma Wood Fired Pizza

Charming for in-eat or great for take-out, individual pizzas here come in a wide variety of options, along with wonderful salads and pasta. Two locations, one in the heart of downtown Montclair, and the other in Millburn, close to all the local amenities.

Bivio’s artisanal pizzas are a labor of love, true wood-burning baked Neopolitan pizza. The menu offers five composed pizzas and two specials, chosen carefully by the chef/owner, as well as salads. There are only 24 seats in this beautiful establishment, but it's worth the wait. And it really is all about the crust, they are divine!

Arturo's calls itself a humble downtown restaurant, and they are definitely being humble. The food is artisanal and everything is wonderful. This place is a neighborhood favorite in the heart of Maplewood village, worth the lines to get a seat.

Founded in 1935 and currently run by the grandchildren of the founder, this is a true family restaurant that takes pride in keeping family traditions alive.

Ah'Pizz serves authentic thin-crust Neapolitan-style pies from a beautiful wood-burning brick oven in a casual setting. You can watch the activity at the oven from the trendy dining room.

Tony DiFabrizio’s place meant for takeout. The specialty is the thin crust, rectangular pan pies called Grandmas—twice-baked, the second time with toppings, and take an hour to make. They also make round pies that take the usual time. This place, opened in 2009, isn't just a neighborhood favorite. People come from all over the area for a taste of their delicious pies.

Ruthie's isn't just known for their pizza and barbecue, they also host live music every weekend, and have a wonderful patio with a very lively crowd in the summer. This is a true neighborhood place that you want to be a part of.
